@ GeoB99: Do you know what exception means? When you configure a value high or low than the min-max amount or changing something nonexsistent but possible, and so a program makes an exception.
@ Talented Doge: Try to run as admin on cs2d. The admin has more special permissions than a normal user.
@ Yates: The exception_access_violation happens when something isn't permitted to use BUT can be used by a software. A software doesn't have a mind thus they cannot make permission to accept the violating change in a configuration
@ Captione: Euh, thanks I guess. But your fix may not work for everyone (like me, as I have always had both options open for Counter-Strike 2D and I still got the error). I turned the lighting down and it never happened again.
@ 1uP: Yes because I like to use hacks on my own servers like a cool kid
2015 games are really cool, I don't really think that the next CS2D version should be out of bugs, I guess it's the time to increase the whole game. I know DC can not make this alone, I think we should find a company who can help the admin to update the game.
@ 1uP: I completely disagree with you. This error has nothing to do with cheats in any way. There are other people who use cheats and they even don't get the EXCEPTION error by cheats therefor it has nothing to do with it.
@ Xirot: This could be a bad idea because DC must pay for that company and he doesn't even know what exactly is that company doing like updating the CS2D and such. He mostly want to do alone, I think.
@ Yates: Do you play CS2D on DX or OpenGL? Then what version of DX/OpenGL do you have?
I play CS2D on very high shadows and high lighting and my OpenGL version is 3.1
I agree 1uP. Sometimes, a script has absurdly high input values like for example: An HE grenade count is set to 100 when it should be 1(i dont know if 100 is possible), which causes the game to handle an exception. GeoB99, an exception error will happen with scripts involved, as long as if the input values is just on the min-max. I suggest do not use OP scripts and OP hacks.
I'm not a programmer, but my friend and google teached me how to troubleshoot games.
