8 replies hi i was just wondering how i change the game mode on my dedicated server. i open the server notepad file and where it says sv_gamemode i changed it to sv_gamemode 3 for construction mode. i then save it and when i open boot up my server it just goes onto bomb/defuse mode. everything else i change in the sys folder works but not this. thanx. If that doesn't work, just go to New Game and change it from there. Then, start and shut down the server very quickly and then close down CS2D. After it's closed, open up dedicated. It works for me. 
Look in the mapcycle.cfg too.
That can be why it turns to bomb/defuse. If all that doesn't work you could also just use rcon to change it emm i have problem with maps changing.. you see i have 20 mins per map change and sometimes when it happends then my dedicated server crashes! 
i even tryed to download server restarter but it says "socket error # 10061" my server is rly popular and lots of players plays it atleast @ morning but i cant be 24/7 at pc to watch server to not crash! so please somebody tell me how to fix this if it is fixable + how to use server restarter so it restarts server when its off... Its already in readme.txt
1) Turn on server restarter
2) Click "Find" button
3) Select ur dedicated server
4) Select "Restart when closed"
5) Tray restarter
And that's all! ok ty i had 1 problem lagg why it wasnt working but i fixed it... now i have other problem lool... i got banned from my server automatically by speedhack! but i dont have speedhack! o.o and i dont know how to unban myself without entering the server... i dont even see my ban in bans list :[ what should i do? lol try "unbanall"
or wait one hour, then your ban should be deleted automatically In prev versionm, temp bans were just unbanned by restarting a server. Votekicks etc. I think now it should work too.
