have a closer look at the list Vibhor and you will quickly see that there are many different downloads listed for CS2D (each version is separately listed + available as setup/zip).

And, if you add all of the downloads for all of the Stranded versions, and then you add all of the downloads for all of the CS2D versions:
Stranded: 284672 Downloads
CS2D: 572688 Downloads
Empirically speaking, CS2D wins.
But if you want to compare Stranded 2 to CS2D only, then you have to add all CS2D version released after Stranded 2 is released, in which case
Stranded 2: 212150 Downloads
CS2D: 572688 Downloads
CS2D still wins.
