I see. I asked because I don't think that many people (if any at all) here are using the RSS feeds. Therefore it doesn't really make sense to extend them.

Personally, I also just noticed, after approving the file by a Reviewer or Mod even if the file is updated, it doesn't need a new review.

While I understand this is better to save some time for reviewers, it can be also security problem, if someone decides to upload/update some malicious file after the file is approved.

Another suggestion is that mentioning a user shouldn't include the mark, as sometimes (usually) a comma is more appropriate.

In the edit profile section, when the "show online state" is on, it should show two images flucuating between "online" and "playing ...".
When off, show the user as offline.
In addition, the image should be a rendered image for the user, and not DC.

@ DC: a history of temporary bans should be stored in user profiles so that the duration of a ban can be decided based on behaviour.

@ Alpha Beta: I have plans to do so for a few years already but I didn't manage to do so yet because I want to do major overhaul which takes quite some time for such a complex and fully custom-made website. So unfortunately I can't tell.

Perhaps this has been discussed before (or probably not?), can't remember really, but with this GDPR mantra and all that stuff the "Remove Account" page within profile options still doesn't let you to actually deactivate your account.

I'm certainly sure this is probably not "right to be forgotten" compliant in any way. Maybe this shouldn't be of a concern for us since US.de is pretty much a very niche website forum but nevertheless, is there any upcoming plans to implement account deactivation in the future?

I assume it would require major changes in how the forum database works? Otherwise if none of this is planned, then maybe just remove that page outright?

@ GeoB99: I remember there was a way to delete an account back in the day. It is not really good that DC removed this feature for some reason.

Declined files shouldn't be downloadable by the public.

Currently when you select a number it opens a context menu.

It only has the option to search by user, but it should include file and thread searching.

Additionally allow to disable that menu through settings as it can get quite annoying.

If I remember correctly back in the day with the old UI layout of the website you could make your profile private to the public view or something like that.

It would be nice if there is an option where you can make parts of your profile or the whole of it private. Personally I don't get the point why the "Total Messages" counter has to be shown to anyone.
