Hey, I planned to be active during the summer and well I was very active in-game, but my yt channel was again forgotten. I'm now playing only during the weekends, but my motivation for video-making containing CS2D is kinda back.

Just a simple round, doesn't happen much often (especially when both enemies were 100 HP).

Thanks for watching my videos. If you enjoy them i'm glad, cause i enjoy doing my shitty yt stuff

A bit unusual story. After coming back home for 2 days I aced in the first round played...

It looks like I was meant to publish a new fragmovie, so here it is.

Added - with World Champions League v14 starting soon I had to prepare a video about Steru. He is my clanmate and the winner of WCL v13. It was very satisfying for me, because I've personally won WCL v12 and stopped playing in individual tournaments. My friend winning the next edition was like winning it by myself.

Most of your videos are good but please the last one is kinda lame tbh.
I'm still waiting for DC release the demo feature, I could record more videos to my channel just like you .

@user Milriko: You can play the same resolution as your Windows' resolution, so your cursor in-game will move the same speed as normally. Otherwise the speed is calculated eg. if your screen width is 1600 and in-game you have 800, then mouseX is 2x faster and you're less precise.

You can use any 16:9 resolution and the gameplay will always same, the difference lies in the Mouse Move Speed.

@user Milriko: I'm prefessional CS2D Scripter and IT Specialist and I just can tell you that changing resolution nothing changes. You still see the same amount of pixels at the screen on any resolution. In 2D games it just changes mouse speed, so playing the same resolution as Windows' is the best.

You said that we don't understand it, because you don't have any good arguments which can approve your thesis.

EDIT:
16:9 vs 4:3

I told you it makes me play better, that's the best argument I can have. It's just "the feeling" that remains the same.

I don't care if you're a scripter. You're not a competitive cs2d gamer so you won't get what I'm talking about. You can tell me anything you want, prepare screens, statistics, analyze stuff, tell me nothing changes with different resolutions.

I will just reply you the same stuff. With 640x480 my feeling in-game remains the same and so does my skill. I don't expect you to understand me, but don't tell me that the game will be the same for me, because in fact it won't be.

@user Milriko: If you are talking about some CS 1.6 or CS:GO then that makes sense, but in 2D top-down shooter? CS2D Competitive enough to stay at 4:3? You argument seems to be invalid you can still record at 4:3 okay, but don't rescale and don't resize it in post-processing

@user Gaios: milriko is using a 4:3 res scalled to 16:9 so he doesn't have any disadvantage unless he forces the 4:3 ratio gameplay in options.

Btw I agree with him, played so much time with 640x480 and is better than other resolutions for competitive side. Is just a preference, people pick what is the best and feels better.

user Gaios has written

That is incorrect, actually the mouse speed is always the same in reference to the pixels. It should be slower for higher resolutions because the amount of pixels area mouse must go through is larger. Therefore higher resolution has advantage in precision because it provides more accurate mouse data because position is not scaled when calculating player direction.

@user Gaios: Ok, I was pretty sure the quote I used was opposite of what I was trying to say.

I'm wondering how people are suggesting to use windowed 850*480 resolution for competitive gameplay which uses V-Sync. That actually causes input delay, less precise mouse movement. It's something completely different from what other competitive games suggests.

What I personally would suggest is to use 720p at least.
