...
You do realize that in order to get into that cave they are likely going to need iron tools and equipment, right?

The strongest tool in the currently released version that most players will have easy access to is pickaxe, which does 10 damage to rocks.

I'm assuming you used the largest rock model (or one of the largest) to block off the cave and those have 3000 health, each. It would take 300 hits, roughly equal to 300 seconds I believe, or *5* full minutes of constant hitting to break through that rock.

OH BTW:
Pickaxe combination is Branch + Ironbar. The next strongest tool that does not require iron is:

The hammer. Which happens to do 6 damage. Aka, 500 hits, or 8+ minutes of hammering away at a rock to destroy it. Just to get access to iron, crucial for many more advanced items in the game.

Mapping is easy, and most logic required is obvious, but obviously you missed out on the important part:
"Do not piss your players off."

Maps are made to be fun, or to tell a story. Not to force your players to tape their left mouse button down with scotch tape and a small rock, go downstairs and watch tv for ten minutes, and come back upstairs just to continue playing.

Luckily the next version of Massive Mod will feature a Sledgehammer designed to destroy rocks quickly, but it is very tiring, and somewhat slow compared to everything else. But it will still enable you to destroy the largest rocks in under a minute.

So you still have to hammer away at a rock for 2 minutes and 20 seconds... Meh. It doesn't matter, its your map.

A small taste of the newest features coded in:

1. Fire needs fuel
---It can be fueled with either logs or branches. If you do not fuel it it will go out. Torches do not require fuel, but must be relit occasionally.

2. Hand Grenades (it was more of a test of an idea)
---Forge an iron ball casing, combine it with blackpowder and a fuse. Throw it, and wait. The grenade will explode in anywhere from 2-5 seconds.

3. Lots of fixes for all sorts of bugs.

And a small taste of the features I am working on:

1. More poisons
2. More achievements
3. Poisoned wheat (idea from the Extension Mod)
4. Flint has a chance to break
5. Bags
6. Simplified dynamite recipe
7. More inspirations
8. More ways to get saltpeter
9. Smoke signal items
--Drop on ground, will send out a plume of smoke and mark themselves on the map. Allowing you to explore at your leisure and find your way around.
10. Fertilizer
--Causes crops to grow faster, and if you wait they will grow larger (giving more stuff)

Expect the new version soon.

Weeeh! The Simplified Dynamite Recipe was a good idea. I looked in the combinations.inf (perhaps older Version) and it looked like the whole sense of the mod is, to make explosives... (I never played the mod [I played no Stranded2 since a few month {games are soo boring to me after a week or so }]) It must take a long time to have dynamite...

there's a few bugs and suggestions I'd like to point out. I made a base surrounded by pallisades and a lion started trying to follow me but was stopped short cuz of the pallisades but when I walked past it, it was able to attack me. And the fire arrow should be lighted with a torch or fire when combined with stick + feather + wool. I'm saying this in this thread so that you can make the changes added to your mod depending on if you agree with me or not.

The bug with the lion is not really fixable. And I'll look into a better way of managing the fire arrows. And I could use models for steaks, bacon, ect. Most items on that list need models.

As far as models for prepared meals go, Shemp
already has a solution to simplify that task immensely.
I made a set of models (plate, bowl, cup, frying pan
and hanging kettle) that have a "hidden" face, that
pictures of food can be applied to.

What list?

A few questions :

1) I'm hoping you want all these chemicals models to be
     of the containers holding them?
2) the Egg ... Is that 1 egg model? or a varity (kiwi,
chicken, raptor, parrot, etc)? if so how many
and what kind of size variation?
3) Dry edible ingrediants ... in containers or out?

4) Everything drinkable .... Glassbottles? clay?

5) Cooked foods ... in appropriate containers ?
     such as bowls, plates, etc...

those Q's show be general enough to cover most of that list
