I know it has been explained in the FAQs, but i've did everything it says. even gave my friend the ip with the port for server and still unable to join. do a lot of u get this as well?

Are you in a LAN?
Your firewall is disabled?

well my firewall is on but the ports 36963 and 80 are opened. lan? why does that matter?

That's why you can't...

it should be possible to play if you forward the udp port 36963 to the local network ip/port of your pc or something like that. I don't really know much about this but it should be possible to make it work somehow
