This will be a CS2D client to play RPG servers. (Such as Tibia RPG.)

Some noticeable features

Better player models.

Many custom GFX to help you create your own RPG Server.

Custom .bat to load many things. (Client, launcher, Dedicated Server, folders, etc...)

Overall improvements to the GFX .

Helpful noob friendly guides. (Create you own server, modify your server, port forwarding, etc)

The client will be better for playing RPG servers, planning on removing many of the FPS features to make peoples RPG experience better and feel like a real RPG.

just about the marker thing: there a setting to enable/disable this marker so removing it in your mod is nothing I would list as a new/special feature

THERE IS a enable/disable for the marker. I guess you didn't understand what I just said.

Thanks DC, also i've learned by making the files read only /hidden your client will be very buggy (some options dont work). Im guessing this is because when your files are read only, the client cant write new options (such as server options and login etc...) I am working around this bug.

gear, if CS2D is in a write-protected place, CS2D will not be able to write to it's files. I think this was the issue with Program Files in Windows.

That being said, I'm notifying anyone who tries to do this its not going to work.

Well, then you should at least know that you can move CS2D to an un-write protected place and all your troubles will disappear.

Obviously, if its read-only, that's just what its going to do, writing is not aloud; CS2D cannot change options if it files and folders are read-only.

To people who want to do this (I don't know why); To change your options you have to copy and paste the original file contents in a new text document, set the options you want save it, then replace it with the one in your CS2D dir.

What in hell's name are you actually talking about? You can set files in any OS ( provided you are root/administrator in some cases ) to read/write/execute very easily. And what are you physically doing to the client?

I think a checkbox is easy enough to understand. What os are you using linux, windows?

Windows:

Run as administrator

Linux:

Move to a private location.

chmod /home/CS2D 7777 -R

hahaha you call it a BUG when a game is not able to save settings because you write protect them? you are hilarious
