I have recently acquired a new version of stranded 2 and want to change the ground colour back to my previous version. i have two versions on my desktop but i have no idea what to do. any suggestions?

look in the SYS folder, in the GAME.inf file... near the top. You should see something like :

terrain_color = 255,255,255 100,100,100 50,50,50

those numbers represent color codes as 255/255/255 is white like snow and 0/0/0 would be black. Changing those 3 numbers changes the terrain color. Each set of 3 corresponds to the bottom layer(dirt), top layer(grass or snow), and overall "tint".

then SAVE the file after you edit the numbers.
