Off Topic Root for Coby CMP500 Root for Coby CMP500
8 replies Is there any root for Coby CMP500?
I didn't find the root in Google.
If you want information about the device click HERE 5.0 inch, huge phone. But only a 1Ghz processor and 2G...
OT: Your brand is not popular enough, probably there's no root for it (except you write it yourself or search how to do it manually). @ oxytamine: nice, but does it works or are you serious? I know how you feel. I have a phone by Prestigio which is not known and isn't supported. Though magically I found a program that did it for me, but sadly I do not remember the program. I can, however, provide you with a list of possible solutions to having your phone rooted, but keep in mind that this could possibly damage your phone(brick it) since your phone isn't known and might not be supported. Take note that if you have any warranty, it will be voided. So take care.
Oh wait, I just found it while writing this.
SuperOneClick
This might do it for you.

Good luck. SuperOneClick is pretty nice. I recommend it for everyone. Used it once, it has done its job right. There's a android app which can modify permissions of files. Use it at your own risk as you might void warranties and such things if you fiddle too much with your smartphone. Good luck and hope you get things working as you want it though.
Android SU @ KimKat: It needs root to work, sometimes it comes with root so you don't need to install it.
