Here we go again with another Windows bug, Well suddenly that started happening. File explorer pops up everytime i close or open a game automatically without my permission. What exactly caused it? How to fix it? I'm using Windows 10 Home Version 1909. I already tried the following methods to fix it but not fixed yet:

Method 1. Restart File Explorer in Task Manager
Method 2. Repair Corrupted System Files
Method 3. Remove AutoPlay
Method 4. Virus Scan
Method 5. Check for updates

Well that's all the methods I tried already, The only method I haven't tried yet I presume is Recovering Lost Files with Data Recovery Software

Install Malware Bytes and run a full system scan on all drives.
Install Avast! Anti Virus and run a full system scan on all drives.

Remove threats as necessary.

If the problem still persists then its caused by a program that is not a virus but is probably just misbehaving.
Locate the program and terminate it.
You could try closing random tasks in task manager (assuming they're not required for the system to run).

You could also check if the problem exists on other users of the computer, maybe it's just in your user which means it is indeed a misbehaving program that is set to start on log in.

EDIT: Scanned for virus using both Windows Defender and Avast. Ended unnecessary processes and services up. I tried closing random tasks in task manager. But not fixed yet.

Well, I have another question. IS IT POSSIBLE TO PUT THE PROCESSES UNDER CONTROL OR UNDER SPYING TO KNOW WHENEVER WHAT PROCESS ACCESSES AND OPENS FILE EXPLORER?

ProcMon can sure do alot of stuff, though I do not know if it is able to track process calls.

The hard way would be to write a program that hooks into every app running, then overwriting CreateProcess to keep track. Possible but difficult. Also could be detected as virus / hack by scanners or games.

Edit: There also is this not updated project. It worked fine for XP.

Edit²: Alternativly you could replace explorer.exe with a custom program. Use NtQueryInformationProcess to get the calling process.

I had a similar problem. But it works again now. Thanks for your help - even though it was not meant for me
